Subject:Problems with KC-500 AMP

Yes, I DID mean bass guitar. Our church band's regular bass player
took a week off, so I filled in for him. Used the KC-500 with my
Yamaha BB2000 bass during practice with excellent results, so I took
it to church on Sunday--also excellent results, and it save me from
bringing along my bass rig, which has a combined weight of about 250
lbs. (about 120 kg, I think). I was worried it might not be loud
enough (our services are held in a school gym, about the size of a
basketball court), but it was NO problem.

Someone on this group once said the KC-500 was weak in the midrange,
and therefore did not do well with more complex sounds (like piano)
but mine seems to be OK with the Alesis's Grand Piano sounds. Most of
the time I'm using it with the B4 software, but about 25% of the songs
we do I use either the piano or strings sounds from the Alesis.
