Subject:Roland KC-500 Weaknesses?

A number of you have made negative comments concerning the Roland
KC-500, but it's not clear to me what the problem is. I bought one
about 5 months ago, and have been very happy with it--and I've used it
with my clone system (B4 software), an Alesis QS6.1 as well as with
bass and acoustic guitar--it serves me well in all these applications.

What characteristics or weaknesses have caused some of you to reject
the KC-500, and others to sell theirs shortly after buying it?
