Yup, I agree. And it's too bad they changed in that way, too, although it proved to be decidedly to their financial advantage to go the route they did. Personally I always liked their untitled third album (with the Heironymous Bosch cover) best. My favorite Jon Lord solo is on that album - "The Painter". Great stuff!
