Subject:Lord's Recipe?

Hi Clonewheelers,

In a few days I have an audition with a Progressive Rock cover band
and one of the tunes I need to do for the audition is Highway Star by Deep
Purple. I was wondering if somebody has a spicey recipe of the "John
Lords" variety. IE. Please let me know some good drawbar settings and how
to tweak the distortion. (maybe even the leslie sim if necessary) I have
NI B4 which has many features to tweak the tube distortion simulator. It
has adjusters for bright, Body, Bass TOne, Treble Tone and several different
settings for microphone placement (for the Leslie simulation)

If anybody has B4 and/or knows some tricks to get a dirty offensive Lord's
sound. Let me know. Of course, I have a general idea of how to tweak it,
but I'm interested in getting feedback from the group. I want to impress
the h*ll out of this band, because I get the feeling I'm really gonna like
the band.

Daniel
