No, the EXP-2 is a completely different animal, and a somewhat clunky,
oversized animal at that, IMHO. It's original purpose was inline volume
control, as I recall. There is a picture in the CX-3 manual (pg. 6) that
shows both the EXP-2 and the KORG-FC-7. To my knowledge, KORG does not
sell the FC-7 as a separate item. You need to talk to Yamaha UK, who I've
heard are very helpful. If you have trouble contacting them, let me know;
I have a UK contact from another mailing list.

If you use it in your VK-7, you'll probably have to do the plug-end
modification that I described earlier. I've had to do that mod for every
Roland keyboard I've ever used (or adapted) -- D-50, U-220, RD-600,
MKB-300. I doubt that the VK-7 would be any different.
