I have an EV5 on my Roland V K 7 and I am not at all happy with it.After 9 months the sound started to break up.The dirty contact effect.I asked for advice from clonewheelers,and was given some ways round this problem.The pot inside the unit is sealed so it is not easy to get at.But I managed to spray it with contact cleaner.It worked fine for a week,but has now started
giving me problems again.I could of course just be unlucky with my unit.But I am on the lookout for another make.Bruce has been using his Yamaha for 15years.Speaks for itself don't you think?.This or course is only my opinion.
But I am about to write a letter of complaint to Roland U.K.
