Subject:Re: Nord Electro (Kind Of ) pt. II

IIRC, wasn't the Nord claiming to have a CP-70 sound?? Not an
"acoustic piano" sound? That was my biggest stumbling block
from even looking at a Nord no matter how good their Hamm was.

I owned a CP-70B for years (now my EXwife owns it!) and loved that
it was the 'best' available but never liked the sound as such when
compared to real piano. Nor do I like it when even compared to my
Kurz romplers.

If CP-70 is the Nord "piano sound" in earnest, then "rather weak"
and "brittle" are pretty kind hearted words, IMO...
