First get some "De-Oxit 5" contact cleaner. And tongiht before you
go to bed, lay you pedal on its side with the shaft to the control
sticking up. Spray a small amount of cleaner right up against the
shaft and work it a few times. The cleaner should wick it way down
the shaft and into the pot. Repeat about three more times. Let soak
for a least an hour to see if the cleaner has entered the control.
Work control as usual to loosen dirt and make the cleaner work.
Repeat as necessary. May sometomes take two or three complete cycles
of this and an overnight soak. Casey
