The model 770 is essentially a model 760 -- solid-state, bi-amped 90W, horn
+ rotor design -- in a "prettier" cabinet; i.e., a standard 122/147
box. It was later replaced by the model 771, which has higher power. The
771 is still made today.

I believe it has the standard woofer and tweeter. It has a three-speed
motor system, but it uses the older 9-pin style, so it will not hook up
directly to a VK7 -- you'll need an adapter. :^(

The solid-state amp is only so-so, being one of the earliest examples of
the technology, but as a basic canvas, it's a good start. You might want
to consider replacing the amp with a 122XA/147A model, or using a tube
preamp to warm it up.
