It's great to see so many folks getting use of this idea. The mics
worked like a charm for practice last night. The first live testing
will be tomorrow. Stay tuned. As for the 1/4" jack; I don't see any
reason it wouldn't work since the mics have no place for ground. I'd
use wire that has a ground shield anyway, because if you do pick up a
hum, you could always ground the plug later. Shouldn't be a problem,
but you never know when it comes to ground loops & buzzing & stuff.
I hate PA's, but they're necessary evils for live performance.
