Subject:Re: taking the v5 to the gig
Great photos, rack and explanations. I'll be adding a RANE SM-82 to my V-3
module in a two space rack and now I'm thinking about reverb. I'm stereo
through out, after V-3 effects out to Rotosphere, so ???? stereo reverb?
More Rack spaces! Then EQ ? Then ART Tube or Blue Tube? What am I looking
for in the sound? I have no B-3 to compare to. What are others using?

Thanks for the cool post. If you have photos of your setup, I've love to
see 'em. Setup and teardown is my least favorite part of playing out...
well, duh, I guess that's why we're all on this mailing list, huh? (I have
a V-5) Anyway, I've invested a lot of time and effort into making my rack
as self-contained as possible. I ended up using a Furman pluglock as well
and made a "remote cable" to send wall wart power out to the V5 and Roland
controller. You can see photos of my wacky creation at:
