Hmm... I've never used KT-88s, but I seem to recall reading somewhere that
these tubes use a different plate voltage or something. Years ago my boss
had a McIntosh power amp that used KT-88s and for some reason I recall that
there was a mod that had to be done in order to switch it to run on 6550s.
Or, is it the case that the Leslie amp's design tolerances are wide enough
that you can use KT-88s?
