Hi Mike, The difference in the sound you hear probably has a lot to do with
the deflectors. When I first got my Leslie 145 someone had removed them. It
sounded OK but the horn was cracked anyway so I got a new one with
deflectors. The sound difference was amazing to me. Not quite as loud, but
without them there is very little Frequency Modulation in the sound, just
lots of Amplitude Modulation. This is a well documented difference in sound
and some people like them with and some without, me liking the sound with
deflectors. The smaller horn size on the Pro3T might make it difficult to
add one but I really don't know. I do find it strange that Motion Sound did
not consider what many think is a very important component in the true Leslie
Sound.
