Subject:New guy
Greetings,
I'm new to the Clonewheel newsgroup. My current faux Hammond setup consists
of a Roland JV1080 with the Keyboards of the 60's and 70's expansion board.
I tweak the programs I use, bypassing any on boards effects, assign it to
one of the aux outputs, into a digital reverb unit and then into a Motion
Sound Pro3T. Certainly not the most authentic clone sound, but for the
moment, it will have to suffice.
I have had pretty much every Voce box in the past 8 years, owned a Hammond
XB-2 and a Bill Beer chopped Hammond. Currently, I am anxiously awaiting
the release of the new Clavia Nord Electro, which I have have a deposit on
at my local music store. A friend of mine visited the Clavia factory last
summer and got to hear the samples the engineers were working on. He says
they are fantastic. Based on the past history of Clavia putting out
excellent products, I'm gambling that the Electro will also be a winner.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to stimulating posts and great information from
this newsgroup!
Regards,
Mark
