Subject:CX3 Gig Review

Ok, so I was wrong...

Last night I tried the CX3 on a live gig with a power blues band. I was
quite impressed. I decided to not use my Pro3-T and go direct into the
Mackie SM450. Wow!!!! I must tell you that with Bruce's Leslie sim
adjustments, I could not tell the difference. I am now selling the Pro-3T on
Ebay. (I need to sell it to help pay for the CX3) By the way, I purchased
the CX3 from Sweetwater for $2050, shipping and tax included... they also
included a bag of candy in the box... nice...

Everything sounded great! The tonality, the chorus... and I must admit that
the keyboard felt very good. I guess that I was afraid of the transition to
and from my real B3. It felt as if I was playing faster and easier. Even
when I used it for a piano controller it felt good.

When my bass player introduced me, he said: "David on the Hammond B3"...
Well, not exactly... but close.
