Subject:Re: taking the V5 to the gig

Jarrell,

I 've had great results with some stuff called "GOOP". It sets up rubbery
and can always be pried apart but seems to hold very well. It's available
in auto and hardware stores. Personally, I've gigged with a V3 and MIDI
drawbar unit for years and every keyboard I've had has had the same "H"
pattern of Velcro to hold the drawbars on. I always build the wall wart
into the controller keyboard and I use a 1/4" stereo jack to connect from
the keyboard to the MIDI controller. Works great! The drawbar unit does
not move at all and at the end of the gig it fits perfectly in the case for
my old Nokia bag cell phone. I'm still using the MIDI drawbar every Monday
night to control the Native Instruments B4 on a laptop. Wonderful!

Cheers, Ken
