Subject:Re: VK7 tweaking

Hi Eamonn,
I've been using a VK7 for the past two years and have the manual available.
Feel free to email me with any specific questions.

Any changes you make while editing will only be saved if you press the WRITE
button while in edit mode. But after that, your changes will be available
after power cycles.

There is also a selection in edit mode in which six more banks of presets
become available, and the last two banks were the same as the factory
presets in the normally available banks. To access the EXPANDED Banks,
press EDIT, press No 1 button (System Basic), use the < and > buttons to
move to the Bank select menu item, use + or - to select EXPANDED, then press
Edit to exit Edit mode. You should now be able to select 8 banks of presets
by pressing BANK and one of the ORGAN PRESET buttons to select the bank.
then push anothere ORGAN PRESET button to select the patch in that bank.

As for the leslie, I played around with the tweekings, but I ended up mostly
using the TYPE 1 default (I believe this is 147 emulation, TYPE II was more
mellow.)

I'm in a rush now, but feel free to ask questions.

Tom Montgomery
