Subject:Leslie all better now
Greetings,
I had asked for help a week ago after my 122 became stuck on slow.
Thanks to everyone for your advice. Turns out it was a bad relay.
SPECIAL thanks to Tony LeBrasca for helping me to determine that I had a
new Hammond-Suzuki electro-mechanical relay in my 122 amp. He sent me a
new one overnight and I popped it in for this weekend. Lo and behold,
that was the problem! With the new relay in there, the 122 was swirling
away like a champ. I am glad I was able to track this and fix it
quickly.
Tony also hooked me up with a new set of tubes including the new
Electro-Harmonix 6550s. I had been using Tung-Sols and these new ones
sound almost identical to the Tung-Sols. Check them out--they rock. So
I am back in the saddle now and I'm quite pleased. Thanks again to
everyone for taking the time to send me your feedback about what might be
wrong with the Leslie.
Regards,
Eric
