There are probably lots of different ways, but the easiest way is to use
the Drawbar/Save button: Every time you turn off the button (light out),
the drawbars stop sending MIDI messages; every time you turn it on, it
immediately sends the current position of the drawbars. I used to use this
"feature" to make complex changes quickly on one set of drawbars.
