Subject:Re: [OT] Opinions: Keyboard vs Korg CX-3
Hi:
This is my last word on this thread.
I didn't or join this discussion to have anyone agree or disagree with me. I
simply stated my personal views in order to, hopefully, help anyone trying
to make the clone/Hammond choice a little easier. Lord only knows how much
time we've all wasted, not to mention dollars spent, trying, buying and
playing instruments we eventually become dissatisfied with. (Digital pianos
anyone?)
I personally feel only the real sound of tubes and tonewheels capture the
ideal for me. Others really like clones and or clone/lez hybrids. What's
important is the sharing of information so we all can become as learned on
the subject as we can. That way less time and cash will be spent on
instruments not suitable to our needs. I wish there were groups like these
in the '70s when I was spending a fortune on the latest and greatest.
("You're only limited by your imagination"...Remeber that catchphrase?...so
does my bank)
This was fun, a great forum.
