The original protocol for .com, .net, and .org sites broke down a couple of
years ago, and people now pick and choose whatever they want in the three
categories. If you go to the Network Solutions site and put in a .com
choice, it will suggest that you also register the .net and .org variants,
for IP protection.
Of course, it costs and additional $140, but that has nothing to do with
it, right? ;^))
