---Hello all
> I used to have the Hammnd XM1 and now I have both the E-mu B-3 and
the Oberheim OB3^2., and I am very pleased with the change.
I would give the OB at least a 7, 9 for the drawbar sound on its own
but losing marks for the distortion effect and the chorus which is
not spot on.
I would also give a very high 9 for the sounds available on the E-mu
but reducing the overall to 6 because there is no drawbar control.
I use both modules together which works very well in conjunction with
a Hughes and Kettner Rotosphere.
The Spin 2 is a high priced £400 in the UK which is silly money for
an electronic stomp box. I would though be very interested if some-
one could direct me to a good recording made using the Voce Spin 2 to
compare it with the H & K, which cost me £249 new.
I hope one day to get hold of the Motion Sound simulator with the
horn internally miked, but this product is not easily obtained in the
UK as far as I can find out.
Tom.
