Subject:Some V5 questions/problems.


For you V5 experts out there, I have a few questions:

1. MIDI Out - my V5 doesn't send anything to MIDI Out when I move the
drawbars or change any of the other controls. Does anyone else have this
problem, or know how to get it to work?

2. Saving manual settings - I used an external MIDI controller to set the
drawbar settings for the upper, lower, and pedal channels. However, when
I hold one of the V5 preset buttons to save the current settings to that
preset, it doesn't save them. The only settings it seems to save are when
you set the drawbars on the V5 itself and use the Split mode interface to
set up the right/left hand manuals. These are then associated with CH1
and CH2, respectively. But there's no way to save the current pedal
settings. Does anyone know how to get this to work?

3. Multi-timbral mode - Multi-timbral mode only works when you turn the
MULTI-TIMBRAL switch OFF and the Split button OFF. I know of another
owner whose V5 behaves the same way. Is this common behavior?
