Well.... I've not been a member all that long, and I don't own a Voce
product, but I intend to, and I was feeling guilty about posting
dialogue about my OB3 squared....BUT NOT ANY MORE. I feel like I've
been set free! Not really, but I can say, as a non-Voce product
member that this site has produced several invaluable tips, hints,
opinions, and discussions that have hit home with me and I know they
would hit home to any "clone wheel" organ freak. Some quick
examples..the Art MP and 6 kHz eq that I mentioned in an earlier
posting, discussion about stand types (X types leave no room for
pedals and floor switches so I switched to A-frame), an excellent
source for a truly REGAL throne for one of my most prized possesions
ie my butt, and great explanations of things like the mechanics of
chorus/vibrato, Pro 3T's, etc. So my vote is YES.
Now, since I'm on here, how are those new Korg CX-3's? I owned an
original CX-3 and my only complaint (which prompted me to include it
in a trade for a chop down B-3) was when I played it through a 145
and a pre-amp pedal, the high end sounded very electronic and thin,
without the scream that I desired at that time (I've since grown
older and require less scream now). Maybe it was the pre-amp pedal,
I don't know, but the rest of it was pretty good, and I even used it
on some very nice sounding studio tracks. Can anyone give me an A -
B comparison of the old vs. new? (Obviously, midi is one big
difference) Most of my interest is in live gigging situations, so
someone's experience with recording and home or church settings will
no doubt be different. (the less scream thing.....)
