Using the low-level input is probably your simplest solution. I think the
high-level input was meant for line-level equipment, and the Voce output is
not quite that strong. As long as you use your ears as a guide -- I'm
assuming that you are looking for a warm, slightly overdriven sound, rather
than the Leslie From Hell -- it's very hard to destroy a Leslie 145,
short-term, lie with a couple of notes with the volume accidentally set too
high. The most fragile part is the tweeter, and even it will take a bit of
abuse before burning out.
