Yeah, ATA specs are pretty subjective these days...the travesty of the
SKB scam is that they jack their prices through the roof and the quality
is just not that great. I believe the list price on an 88 case is $600
and the discounted price is just below $400. Unreasonable for plastic
and no recessed hardware.
