Subject:V3 troubles

Hi Gang,

I've been using a Voce V3 with Midi Drawbars driven from a Roland D-70
controller since '96. Over the past six months, I've noticed the volume
will suddenly drop to half in the midst of a performance, then suddenly come
back to full steam again at three to five minute intervals. I never see
this intermittent behavior at practices, only during bar gigs where the
board is played non-stop for 1 hour sets. I recently noticed the "activity"
LED on the R channel of my line mixer dims to a light flicker during the
dropout, then returns to full bright when volume returns. This leads me to
believe the V3 is only dropping out on the right channel audio output.
There is also a loud "pop" when it changes state. Anybody seen anything
like this before? Any ideas on how to catch it in the act off stage so I
can get it diagnosed and fixed? The friendly folks at CAE Sound don't want
to look at the unit until after I can consistently induce the faulty
behavior. Thanks for any advice.
