It's a shame that the Barbetta deliverd to you was so noisy. My
Barbetta's are very quiet and the best sounding amps I own (I also
have a JBL EON G2 and a Mackie SRM450). I must admit though that
Barbetta's do not have the best track record for reliabilty and
roadworthyness (it's a word), which is why I often use my JBL at the
gig. If I'm playing a small gig where the audience will hear my
onstage sound I use the Barbetta, but if I'm playing through the P.A.
the Barbetta's are better left safe at home, which is a kind of a
waste. One thing to mention, Tony Barbetta is real easy to deal with
and will gladly fix any of his products you send back to him (but I
suspect fixing his stuff must keep him somewhat busy).
