Subject:Re: Joey D.'s latest sound and comment on clones
Well, Joey at least tried using a clone for awhile (XB-3) - not that
it was any more portable. At least he's not dismissing clones without
trying them. But consider that he pays a price too for deciding to
play the real thing. Namely, that he is at the mercy of whatever axe
is rented for him when he shows up.
I provided a pristine '58 C-3 for him one night, and his wrists were
all f^&ked up from the night before, from playing an old beater BV on
which the action was absolutely shot.
He smokes regardless of whatever lame organ is provided for him. How
many of us would be confident enough to accept that challenge?

Don't get me wrong because I like Joey, but kinda easy for him to
say, don't ya think?.
