Subject:Re: bands
I've only played in 6 bands, in the last 37 years, but every single band
I was in respected me because I was the keyboard player. The keyboard
player is the one who knows what everyone is doing, not just what he's
doing. When someone gets lost in my bands, guess who they look to for
guidance? We are the rarest, and those that don't respect us don't
appreciate our obvious additions to their sound. I hope I didn't come
off too snotty, just then. My band mates just love my Hammonds/Leslies
and embarrass me with praises often. When I speak they listen, too. It
must be because I live in such a small limited area, maybe, huh?
