Ken,
You're likely right. The original draws never did work exactly right,
near as I can tell. I'm gonna use those diags that /Dave mentioned
and report back.

The bad part will be getting them fixed!

Hey /Dave,
Are these just garden variety electronics inside?
Are there ROM's I can or need to get upgraded at the same time?

Another thing, I've very carefully tweaked my sound system to get my old
DMI/micro-b setup to sound "just right" -- and it mostly did. The GFX-1
tube preamp really made the DMI come ALIVE. Now with a V3, afraid I'm
gonna need a better speaker setup :-)
