Subject:help with voce stuff

Firstly, Good Trader Alert: Ken Hall, member of this list and other
[Hammond related list]s. Good man to deal with -- even from Canada,eh?

Secondly and frustratingly:
I must come to the list to help me solve a problem. Midi stuff.

So I got this DMI-64, right? then I got me a set of Voce Mididrawbars.
They never really did work well together, even with the midi-loop setup
that you hafta use. Called around (years ago) and was told that maybe
it was the DMI or the software or some magic that no one understood.
And voce wasn't "supporting" it any more so tough. Whatever THAT meant.
Great just Great. Among the 'solutions' was that perhaps it was
much newer and therefore only worked on the "new" voce products. The
volume, dist, click, and hum seem to all work fine just no draws!

OK, so i get me a v3 from Ken *with* another set of draws. Finally! my
dream of another set of clone draws -- excellent hands, here > Soon I'll rule the world (or maybe just this organ). The
Ken stuff :-) worked just fine together, of course. So, my dream of
hookup upper/lower with draws was about to come true.

To my frustration, the draws work identically on the v3 -- only worse.
Now the "drawbars" light will not function -- course I didn't hook up
the 'aux' loop either. But the volume, dist, etc (the knobs) work
fine! So the old draws won't work right with anything!

Now, tonight, i'm going to try a few more iterations of cable/draws.
Like hooking up that silly aux loop and still hoping I can find a
way to "splice in" the other draws.

Any help, or ideas, or even legends about how voce was run by aliens
(hey, I'll believe it) would be appreciated.
