Subject:Group MP3's

I'm a new member, though I have been following the board's
discussions for some time now. I'm not sure if this has come up in
the past or not, but I was wondering if it was of any interest to the
board to setup an area (most likely on another site, as the file
space limit here is 20Megs) exclusively for users to upload songs
showcasing their "perfect" B3 substitute.

I'm only 18 years old, and learning that some of you have been
playing and gigging for 20-30 years, makes me wish I could sit down
at the organ with you guys and pick up a few things. I know it says
in the Charter that the purpose of the board is not about playing
techniques etc., but I'm sure that it would be a great experience for
the members to share their music with the board and display what it
is they've been talking about for months (ie. sound quality of rig,
EQ adjusments, Leslie sim tweaks,etc.). I've played piano for 10
years and consider it my specialty. I've only just discovered the B3
about 2 years ago and in March purchased NI's B4. It would be a much
appreciated learning experience for me, and hopefully to the other
members, to listen to personal recordings and find out how to
really "play" a B3. I don't want to hear another Jimmy Smith or
Booker T. Jones (though I've studied them too!). I'd like to hear how
each of you brings your own personal spin to the instrument, and
hopefully utilize that to further my ability and musical
vocabulary.

Just my 2 cents, and a big thanks to Bruce for setting this all up,
I can't tell you how much I've learned in the last few months just
from reading the posts.
