Subject:Re: NEW BOY (VK-7)
Pete and Roger,
First to Pete - I have had a VK-7 for about 3 years
and I love it! I get countless compliments on how it
sounds live and when I run it through a 147 you are
hard pressed to tell the difference. (Yeah...I know
this could cause some debate. It's just that I own a
B-3 and I play one in my gospel church and my favorite
players are Joey D and Chester T. My point? I know
what the real thing sounds like and I am a picky
bastard! If I am pretty happy with my Vk-7's sound,
then it must be pretty close to the real thing (at
least to my ears.))
Roger - Care to share your leslie settings?
