Dave O,

I have thought about the extra cards for the XP-30 that I use as a
controller for the V-3 and the on-board piano sounds and wondered if I were
to get an additional sound card, would this be the one that I go for? You
say good Rhodes, Wurly, Clavs, Any good analog synths?

Also On a V-3 topic, recently I have found that I am unknowning able, but
not wanting, to change the V-3 sound patchs for my lower manual when I
change the XP-30 patches. But the V-3 preset window remains the same! It's
as if the changes on the XP-30 is changing the lower manual preset and thus
when I switch my lower manual off to go to the piano/synth patches, change
them, use them and then return to the lower manual for V-3 control, I don't
know what lower manual V-3 preset I will return to. Right now this is not a
problem as no gigs in the offing. But this status could change! Are my
Midi settings off?

(The switching between lower manual V-3 and XP-30 patches is done using a
black box that I made to interrupt the midi signal path from the lower key
board. The above situation did not start immediately after inclusion of
this box in my rig, but rather, after a long period of patch changing on the
XP-30.)

I have an XP-80 with the 60s and 70s card also. Great Rhodes, Wurly and
clav
sounds - If the XP-80 had the waterfall keys it would be perfect.....
