Hi Dave, on the Electro you have about 4" on the left, and almost a 1ft on
the right to slap a Module to.
The Electro has a killer keyboard. The Piano's are very good. A friend and
myself put it up against a Wurli 200 A and his 73 Rhodes suitcase. The core
piano sounds are really good. The icing on the cake is they include a EQ
sweep in wich you can adjust the tambor wich really dials in the sound quite
well. I have a beta test model of theirs wich did-not have the clavinet in it
, but what it did have worked well. We put the keyboards thru a good Fender
twin reverb, wich is what all the old time players used in the first place to
get that good tube sound. It was scary how close it came to the real thing.
The unit is built well, Light weight and compact. The best feature is the USB
port on the back. When Clavia comes up with improved or new sounds you can
download it off their website. As they go back and refine their product, you
can upgrade it, so you don't have to run out and buy other pieces. This is
key to the longevity of a digital instrument. The organ is really good, but
it can use improvements, but these people listen, and work at improving their
product instead of handing it to you and saying, this is it, that's all you
get. Their dedication is what persuaded me to carrying their instruments.
Best Regards,
Tony
