Well, maybe. I've yet to find anyone who DOESN'T get a reading of
v2.00/422AB, so I'm not sure that this is the firmware number. Perhaps
it's something else, like the PCB revision. Unfortunately, I didn't know
about this trick when I had S/N 000150, so I've never been able to confirm
things on an early model.

I'd like to ask a favor of all CX-3 owners on this list: I'm trying to put
together a CX-3 "history" to help sort out issues that people are
seeing. Please send me the following information, by private email (don't
bore the entire list) --

- serial number
- month/year of purchase
- country of purchase
- "firmware" (power-up + 1 + 8) reading
- "other" (power-up + DISPLAY) reading
- any problems that you've noticed

Even if you've given me some of this info in the past, please do it again;
it's easier to put it together when all of the data is fresh. I'll compile
the listing and send it to everyone when I'm done.
