My CX-3 has S/N 001017.

It was local only. no MIDI connection.

Maybe my CX-3 has the early software. How can I check the version?
I found out that if I hold the "DISPLAY" button down when turning
power on the display shows "M00101102 S00101102". Maybe this is some
version mark. What does yours show? Hold the display button long
enough. It takes a few seconds for the initial message to disappear.
