Gosh, I know this was covered some time ago, but I am being lazy and
just asking again, what is the deal with these mikes? I see on the
Motion Sound site a jpeg which shows how to install them in a Pro 3T,
and at the bottom of the picture is a parts list, which implies this is
a kit available from Motion Sound. This kind of rings a bell, with $99
ringing yet another bell. Are people also just buying these Kobitone
mikes, using the jpeg/instructions, and saving $$$?

Also, what does Mouser have to do with this?

Has anybody done a mod or thought about doing one where the mike
outputs are combined with the low outputs - that way you wouldmn't have
to drill any more holes, and more importantly would only have 2 cables
instead of 4 going out to a PA or your keyboard amp. Guess it would
have to be balenced just right, and I don't know about actually
attaching the mike wires to the pre existing jacks (would 2 signal
wires require some sort of impedence matching or something??).

Anyway, this is a pretty nice feature of the KBR-3D - built in mikes,
plus 2 outputs that include the horn plus lows. Too bad it weighs 70
lbs. (I actually returned one because I realized after lifting and
moving it a few times that eventually I would screw up my back).
