Subject:Re: Alesis Synthesizers
In response to Bruce Whaler's question on replicating the information on the CW page in the CWSG page on Yahoo--seems unnecessary to me, and would create additional support issues for Bruce ( having to update the same material in two places can be a major headache--particularly as that material continues to grow in complexity.
Keep up the good work, Bruce! I have found a lot of useful stuff on the CWSG and on your website, and I want you to know how much I appreciate your efforts.
Bruce Whaler sayeth:
All,
The CloneWheel Page at http://ashbysolutions.com/clonewheel/ has a lot of
this kind of info on it -- product reviews, tips on getting sounds out of
unusual setups, and tricks to improve your clone's sound. Actually, the CW
Page spawned the CWSG, rather than the other way around, so there is always
more reviews, tips, etc. on the CW Page than probably in the Files section
on Yahoo! Even if I wasn't the author, I think I'd still recommend
bookmarking the page. And, it's ad-free!
Open question to the group: Is this a bad thing, the fact that the Yahoo
page is rather bland, while the CW Page is filled with goodies? I could
move things there, but, I don't think it's worth the effort. Comments?
Regards,
-BW
