Like on a real Hammond, many of the settings cannot be split between the
manuals. On most clones, including the V5, there is only one setting for
volume, expression (if supported), EQ, overdrive, and Leslie simulation.

That's the "B-3 way," and since clone keyboards strive to be as
Hammond-like as possible, they rarely support other methods, like
upper/lower balance controls.

Typically, I use the following guide for softer sounds, which also works on
the upper manual, when you want to alternate between a very full sound like
888844444 and a sparse one like 808000002:

You might have to experiment a little on some settings.
