The Hohner Pianet -- forerunner of the Pianet-T came out in the early- or
mid-60's. It was on a number of early Beatles' tunes; "You Like Me Too
Much" comes to mind, among others.

I had a Hohner catalog -- and no money :^( -- when I was 11 or 12 years old
(~1966) that had the whole lineup: Cimbalet, Pianet, and Clavinet --
probably the C4 or whatever the early one was called. Hell, I PLAYED a
fairly beat up D6 belonging to a friend in 1970, and it had to be at least
3-4 years old, maybe more.

Later on, the Pianet was replaced by the -T, and later the Pianet-Clavinet Duo.

I believe that there is a site (clavinet.com?) that goes through the whole
history of the Hohner line.
