I've stumbled across an old Hohner Pianet T electric piano. It has small
rubber pads which don't appear to be adhesive in nature, but which actually
press down onto a flat reed when the keys are at rest. When the key is
depressed, the pad is pulled away from the reed and the reed vibrates.
There doesn't seem to be any evidence of anything sticky having been on the
surface of these pads, and the sound is very uneven across the keyboard.
I'm wondering if anyone out there has had any experience with these beasts.
It seems to be the perfect size to sit on top of my Hammond when gigging.
The few good notes sound pretty good. I know there's no sustain pedal, but
it might be interesting to get it going. Any help would be appreciated.
