Tony,

I own 2 A100's/new CX3/bunch of leslies

The CX3 is definitely shrill in TYPE 1/TYPE II the problem is with the Leslie

amp simulation. If you are using these amp modes then I suggest adjusting the

HORN/ROTOR balance and the DISTANCE/SPREAD as well, and tweak the EQ to taste.

If you are using a real leslie then I recommend that you use PREAMP mode
(cut mid/boost bass/adjut

treble to taste) this will give you a much better balanced sound.

I've also spent a lot of time tweaking the CX3 on top of my A100 and the
resluts

have been excellent. I usually rent B3's for gigging and let me tell you
Ive seen and heard some of

the worst sounding organs of my life, they are all different, the CX3 goes
where a B won't and

it will always sound the same you can count on it. If I could afford/find
a good chop it would

be my first choice no question but overall I am very satisfied with the
CX3. As the OS is is

Flashrom they adjust the tone in a future upgrade, let's hope they do.
