You're one lucky man Tony! I live in Finland and you bet it's hard to
find a decent B-3/C-3/A-series organ. If you'd be lucky enough to
find one you'd have to pay your socks off for it (uh ... you know -
they're very expensive - I guess the price is relative in a way you
have to pay something anyhow, but not relative in a student-
affordable-way (as I'm finishing my studies still)..).

Yes - that's the (best) way to go. I was on a gig last night where
the advertisements told that there should have been a band (trio) of
B-3, guitar and drums. I was told they were supposed to play jazz
honoring the tradition of playing Jimmy Smith style (walking
basslines with the B-3 pedals) but alas - there was no organ on the
stage which the musician could've been playing! I guess they had
rented a B-3 and it just didn't arrive in time at the stage. Boy, was
I just a _little bit_ disappointed.
There were three jazz bands instead (a guitar duo (Django Reinhardt
style, jazz trio (pno, b, drm) + a sax player (good too), and some
trio playing after that) and they played all in all well but oh dear
did I miss _the_ B-3 sound...
