If weight is no issue, then get the B3! I own three B3's and Leslies along
with a CX3, and I am sure that everyone on the list would agree that the
tactile experience of playing the Hammond manuals are difference enough to
prefer the real thing to the Korg. And yes, the the sound is much better
too.

I am happy to report that my "new" 145 Leslie will be here
Tuesday. I plan on hooking it up to my new Korg CX-3 with a new Trek
uc-1a pre-amp. Does anyone have any advice or hints on this
connection along with any adjustments either to the organ or anything
else based on their experiences. Also I am still working on a deal
to buy a chopped B-3 and a 122 leslie. My dilemma is that I live in
an apartment. I would fill it to the ceiling with leslies if my wife
would let me but she is feeling growing pains. Can anyone honestly
tell me which will sound better , and with the Korg 145 combination
will the sound between that and a b-3 with 122 leslie be that
different. I don't ever plan on gigging so the weight difference
isn't an issue. Thanks as always Howard
