Tim and Steve,

While the speakers in a 147 and a 122 are exactly the same, the amplifiers
are a bit different. The 147's amp has a wider frequency range, sounding
brighter, while the 122 amp is often described as "mellow." That said,
there isn't anything that the user can do to the Pro-3T to change the
frequency response from 147-like to 122-like. Also, it is debatable as to
whether the Pro-3T sounds like the Leslie 147 or not. To my ears, I hear
significant differences.
