MY KORG SETUP
About preamps in the signal path: I now use a guitar POD preamp atop the
Korg organ. That way I can adjust with its easily reached knobs tone,
overdrive, and volume knobs. These controls allow me to make adjustments
live. In my applications--where rooms and volumes vary--live adjustments are
required even if the preset is well programmed. The POD preamp does a nice
job of bringing out the tone of the organ. I have not done a lot with
preamps, so there very well may be better things out there. However, i can
say that the POD is very convenient.

It sounds better than my 85 watt all-tube amplifier with a Hammond power-amp
stage.

MY V5 SETUP
I also have a Rotosphere, but I no longer use it, though I still regard it as
a good unit. The Rotosphere is part of my retired V5 setup which is
complicated and includes a graphic EQ along with other boxes. That setup
requires numerous wall warts, which I have housed in a rack with the units.
The V5 plus the Rotosphere make what I regard as a good deal of noise.
Still, that setup has a very good sound.
