Subject:Re: XB2
I do not get enough bass response through my KBR 3D, and I take the
internal mikes into a Fender KXR keyboard amp, so I am using 2 amps. I may
work up to the new CX-3, but my financial advisor (my wife) will not let me
buy a CX-3. I also have an Oberheim OB3-2, but I am going to sell the
OB3-2, even though the sound of the keyboard is as good if not better than
an XB-2. The programming capabilities of the XB-2 are much better, so I
will keep the XB-2 (for awhile). Voce does need to make a keyboard version
of the V5, but I don't see it happening. I will wait a few months for a
deal on a V3 or a V5, and the combination of the V5 and the XB-2 should be
a killer sound. I may also look at the XK-2, because I really like the
sound of the XK-2 (I play blues). Keyboard players are hard to please.

Hi Dale.This Is Mike W. See I have two pro3 t's and two 32
barbettas . I think the sound out of the kbr 3d is nice. You got
stereo bass coming out of one box compare to my two. Not to kick
against the hammond products. To my ears I think the V5 sounds closer
to the B3 than any other clones out there. Across the board with a
decent controller it s great. But I must admit the Korg CX3 with its
cosmetic and sound makes you want to play an organ. I played it
through the KBR3d and I didn't want to leave it in the
store!!!!!!!!The Keys feels great and it looks great onstage. ( thank
God my controller Fatar Csm looks like a black Hammond organ, the keys
sucks!!!!!!!). I trying to convince Dave Amels to PLease Please make a
keyboard version of the V5. Now wouldn't that something???????MikeW.
