Subject:miking a leslie

Hello everyone-
Here's a question. I have a 145 with a sm57 on top and a audix d4 on the
bottom- both mikes have a y connector 1 side to the PA-the other into a
Behringer mx602 then into a Peavey Kb300 sitting on top of the leslie. That
being said, it seems I'm on the verge of feedback thru the Peavey and I'm
wondering how to get the gain without the feedback. Initially, I had the sm57
into the "throat" but I've pulled it out a bit which helps a little bit. Any
thoughts?
